The Cove Collared Wrap Top and Marin Mini Skirt are a study in modern tailoring softened by comfort and ease. Designed to work seamlessly together or stand confidently on their own, this pairing delivers structure without stiffness and polish without pretense. Both pieces are crafted from a stretch liverpool knit that showcases a refined crepe texture and four-way stretch, creating silhouettes that feel sculpted, yet move effortlessly with the body.
The Marin Mini Skirt is sleek and flattering from every angle, shaped by thoughtful details like front and back darts and subtle side panels that contour without excess. An invisible back zipper preserves the clean lines, while the invisible waistband and hem lend a couture-level finish with nothing to interrupt the silhouette. Designed as a mini but easy to lengthen, the Marin mini transitions smoothly from a statement night-out skirt to a knee- or midi-length wardrobe staple.
Paired with it, the Cove Collared Wrap Top brings tailored elements into a relaxed, wearable rhythm. A crisp collar and collar stand frame the neckline, balanced by classic sleeve plackets and buttoned cuffs that reference traditional shirting. Long waist ties wrap and cinch the body, allowing the fit to shift from softly draped to beautifully defined. The result is a top that looks intentional even on low-effort days—polished, yet inviting, and structured, yet fluid.
Worn together, the Cove Collared Wrap Top and Marin Mini Skirt create a cohesive look that feels modern, confident, and endlessly versatile. Style them with boots and tights for cooler days, heels for evenings out, or mix each piece into your existing wardrobe for maximum wearability. This is elevated dressing that doesn’t ask for attention but earns it anyway.

Find Your Perfect Fit
The Cove Collared Wrap Top and Marin Mini Skirt Sizing Guides are based on the suggested design & wearing ease for this style. You can also choose the size according to your desired finished garment measurements, blending between sizes as needed. Measure the printed patterns to make sure the dimensions are according to the desired fitting and adjust if needed before cutting the fabric. For best results, sew a test garment in a similar fabric to adjust your pattern.
Note: Measurements may vary after adjustments. If using non-stretch fabrics, reference the approximate finished garment measurements chart to choose your size.
Note: Always read all the instructions before cutting the fabric!
*Designed for stretch fabrics. There is negative ease due to the stretch of the fabric.
How to Sew The Cove Collared Wrap Top and Marin Mini Skirt
The instructions provided below are designed to guide you through sewing the Cove Collared Wrap Top and Marin Mini Skirt from start to finish.
2 Tips for Sewing with Stretch Liverpool Knit
⇒ This fabric is really similar to ponte, which we’ve used for a lot of our recent patterns. It’s a relatively thick knit fabric with a pretty tight knit structure. You can pretty much treat it the same way you treat ponte in terms of using stretch needles on your machine, medium heat on your iron, and a 2 millimeter stitch length.
⇒ Resist the temptation to skip the interfacing in the collar and button placket. Putting interfacing on just one of the two collar and collar stand pieces will make everything hold its shape and stay where it is supposed to sit after it’s sewn.

What a beautiful set
Espectacular, gracias
Would using a serger be suitable (maybe foe the main seams if not the collar and cuffs?)
Hey Shoop! Yes, especially for stretch fabrics, if you have a serger it can be used for most of the seams like you were saying.
Merci pour ce superbe patron!
Cove wrap top
Love this top
Nice
Nice
Wat een stijlvol patroon.
Love the wrap-detail!
I think there are things missing. It should be a wrap top. In the sewing steps it is a Button down Shirt. There are no steps on Finishing the hem and wrap strips for the Shirt.
Hey Claudia! The top is hemmed in step 3 of the tutorial. Additionally, the ties are included in the pattern piece for the front of the top, but you’re more than welcome to extend the length of the ties if you want to be able to tie a big bow in the back or wrap it around your body more than once. I can’t wait to see how it turns out when you make it!
Love this outfit inspiration! The Cove Collared Wrap Top paired with the Marin Mini Skirt looks stylish and versatile for both everyday wear and special occasions. The styling tips and fabric suggestions are really helpful — can’t wait to try this look with my own wardrobe pieces!
