Sew with right sides together all around the garment from top to bottom, making sure to leave a gap open about 4″ at the bottom to turn it right side out. Beautiful Pattern 😀
please advise how to download just the Penelope pants pattern without purchasing the tassels, cloth and thread. I can’t see how to do that anywhere.
Many thanks, Greta

Merci à vous …c’est un modèle que je verrais bien dans un petit lainage pour l’automne
J’adore vos patrons ,ils sont tous tops!!!!!!!!MERCI.
I have entered my email address for the penelope pants, but I have not received it. Love these pants and it is exactly what I wanted.
Hello, Please email info@moodfabrics.com for any issues with pattern downloads.
Can you break down the fabric recommendations by size and pattern? My size 24 behind is going to need more than your pretty model. 🙂 I’m not sure how much fabric to estimate for just the pants.
Hello, you will need 3 yards for a size 24 in The Penelope Pants.
Are there hacks for the top? Just curious about different closures for it other than the belt.
You can use other methods such as buttons, snaps, side tie, ribbon with grommets, or a separating zipper.
Love this pattern turned out to small tho
Love the way the pattern looks but how would a 24 inch zipper make sense here? You would cut off a lot of excess! What is the actual lengths that zips down? Is this supposed to be 10 inches, i.e. 24 cm?
Hi Alina! We love that you love the way the pattern looks! Regarding your great question on the zipper length, you are correct that a lot of excess would be cut from its 24″ length. We stock 9″ and 24″ regular and invisible zippers and opted for the 24″ invisible version to ensure we would have enough length and a flat, seamless finish.
Would this pattern be possible with some lighter weight fabrics? I’m not a fan of linen (all you have to do is breathe and it wrinkles), and would like to try something more flow-y than twill or the polyester silk blend. Any advice?
That’s a great question! We understand the concern about linen wrinkles. A cotton twill or cotton sateen are both wonderful, breathable (and less wrinkly) options if you’re looking for a lighter weight alternative to medium weight linen we used. Happy Sewing!
I am enquiring if you can or do patterns in AO print.
Thank you for your interest! At this time, we only offer the A4/Letter size version, but we’ve noted your request as we’re always working on updates. We can’t wait to see what you create! ✨ If you post on social media, use hashtags #MadeWithMood and #MoodValeriePattern and/or #MoodPenelopePattern!
Hello, how much fabric for a size 00 and 0, please?
Thank you.
Hi there! Use our “Shop This Look” tab to enter your size and see the recommended yardage for that chosen size.
I made the vest from this patern size 20 and it was one of my more complicated project as i started sewing. Vest look like is shorter than the pictures at least in size 20.
You’re more than welcome to lengthen the hem of the vest if you find that it’s looking too short.
