Rich, luscious shades of blue dominated the Fall/Winter 2013 runways. Royal blue, azure, cornflower, teal and other blue hues turned up in leather tops, oversized coats, demure dresses and more. Take a cue from designer Reed Krakoff and go head-to-toe blue. Mood has every shade of blue fabric in the spectrum. Below, we’ve gathered some of our favorite blues for you:

Clockwise from top left: Blue-green brushed wool suiting; powder blue wool crepe; Carolina Herrera boiled wool coating; cobalt wool boucle.

Clockwise from top left: silk chiffon print; Anna Sui silk jacquard; Italian teal brocade; estate blue silk crepe-back satin.

I really love these blues…I just whipped up a crop top from an old school pattern in pique-type fabric that is Cobalt…it came out super cute!…I’m glad the season changes this go ’round include pretty, bright colors….I was going to include ’em anyway!…(wink-wink)…I have to keep my life and sewing “sun-shiney”…Great feature Mood!
